Using painting, drawing, and printmaking, I strive to create pieces that appear beautiful but reveal unsettling themes beneath the surface. My work combines the human body and nature into hybrid forms, drawing inspiration from body horror and the grotesque feminine. Metamorphosis is central, expressing what words cannot, as bodies shift between male and female, plant and human. This “in-between” state exposes internal tensions and transformation. By weaving these concepts into visual culture and art history, I aim to explore the artificiality of the human-nature divide, challenging the illusion of separation from our ecological origins.
